Gifts of appreciated stock
Donating appreciated securities is one of the most tax-efficient ways to support the Institute. You avoid capital gains tax and receive a charitable deduction for the fair market value. Contact us to arrange.

Employer matching gifts
Many employers match charitable contributions — sometimes at two or three times the original gift. The Institute is eligible for most corporate matching programs. Check with your employer's HR or philanthropy office.

Instead of (or alongside) a financial gift, consider hosting a Washington Scholar for a paid summer internship at your organization. The Institute handles placement and support.
